Frequently Asked Questions

  • RAAFA is a not-for-profit organisation with a strong charitable purpose, this means that our surplus is returned to our organisational purpose, benefiting members, residents and the community we have committed to uphold. Everything we do at RAAFA is centred on the people we serve, understanding their needs and delivering on our benevolent purpose to pursue excellence in heritage and care.

  • At the end of 2023, PCCC had reached a pivotal point in its growth and both Julie and Carole recognised that entering the next phase of business would need significant support.

As an established community aged care provider that also offers residential aged care and retirement living, RAAFA is dedicated to pursuing excellence in care. RAAFA has shared values with PCCC, along with a desire to continue to look after our team and clients in the same vein as we have always done.

Sharing in our dedication to service, RAAFA is committed to continuing our great service and welcoming PCCC to the RAAFA family as we continue to deliver excellence in care to those who need it.

  • RAAFA’s intention is not to change too much about how the business runs or what makes PCCC special and unique. There will however be some important changes made to allow RAAFA to take ownership of the business, and this will include a transfer of payroll from PCCC to RAAFA. No action will be required from you.

More information on this will be provided in your RAAFA welcome pack.

  • Yes! We aim to minimise any changes to our operations. Any changes to your roster would be standard changes you would expect to happen now with PCCC — for example, new clients coming on board or exiting. Julie and the PCCC team will work with you on any changes, as they normally do.

  • As a valued member of the team, we are letting you know about this first. In September 2024 we will be sending a letter to all PCCC clients to inform them of the change in ownership, but our retention of the same excellent service they’ve grown to expect through your care. We encourage you to advise clients that PCCC’s service and quality of care will remain the same. If your client has any questions, please ask them to call PCCC directly to discuss any concerns.

  • For the foreseeable future PCCC will remain at East Parade, East Perth.
